Terms and Conditions for New Custom Jewellery Manufactured
Due to the unique nature of special orders and designs a 50%-60% deposit of the anticipated total is required with the signed quotation for manufacturing to commence. A cooling-off period of 5 business days are allowed. In the case of a refund, a refund will be made within 15 days with banking costs deducted. 3-6 weeks will be required for manufacturing depending on the design. Any cost of changes in design or modification once a piece is begun will be the client’s responsibility. These costs of changes are non-refundable and will be added to the final cost of the piece.
Cloverfield Bespoke Jewellery (CBJ) will not supply any false, deceptive or misleading representation of service or products. CBJ also promise to provide timely service and completion with notice of any delays. CBJ promise to provide high quality workmanship and service, and remedy any defected quality goods by repair or replacement, within bounds. Any jewellery piece that has been misused, or damaged while in the client’s possession is non-refundable and void of warranty. All finger sizes given by customer without measurement will be assessed and customer will be charged if the ring has to be sized after manufacturing has started.
One follow-up cleaning and plating can be done free of charge. Any plating done on a jewellery item is temporary and will have to be re-done in the future. This will be for the clients own account. If any small stones (less than 2mm in diameter) are lost within 30 days after purchase, it will be replaced free of charge. After 30 days stones must be replaced at clients own cost. Rush-Jobs will have an extra charge, in order to complete work within a shorter period than needed, in this case if any settings are loose, or stones lost after a jewellery piece has been made in a rush there will be no stone replacement warrantee.
CBJ warrants that all custom manufactured jewellery pieces are free from defects in material and workmanship, under normal use for a  period commencing on the the date of purchase / collection and valid for a period of three months, subject to following conditions:
  • The warrantee is not valid for jewellery items that was assessed upon collection, rendered appeased by customer ; and at one's own leisure find the item unsatisfactory.
  • The warranty does not cover accidental damages due to incorrect handling, normal wear and tear, misused or affected by acts of god.
  • The warranty will be rendered invalid if the jewellery piece has been tampered with or altered in any way, or which has been subjected to misuse, negligence, accident, or if any unauthorized repairs have been attempted.
  • The jewellery piece will be repaired by CBJ or by an official appointed agent.
Any returns on custom made jewellery due to workmanship dissatisfaction/ could not be examined by customer before delivery/ or defective goods according to CBJ must be returned within 7 days of sale to be examined. Custom made pieces are cannot receive refund if defective but will be replaced if deemed necessary by CBJ . There will be a maximum of 30% restocking fee on the manufacturing price of any custom made jewellery upon cancellation of uncompleted order. This is to offset expenses in cured for materials and/or labour at the discretion of CBJ. Items manufactured by hand may have small imperfections and does not qualify for any warrantee.

In the case of new jewellery ordered from a mass produced catalogue, no warrantee can be given. Items can only be ordered once a 50% deposit has been paid and no refund will then be possible upon order of goods. Titanium and Tungsten rings can not be sized, if ordered in the size the customer specified and is in fact the incorrect size, we can request an exchange at customers expense and according to the availability of the supplier.

Promotions by CBJ: one promotion per item may be used, full payment of quotation must be made before jewellery item will be manufactured or ordered. Large Diamonds & Semi-Precious Gemstones do not form part of promotions.

Terms and Conditions for Custom Jewellery Manufactured with
Client’s own Gold and Stones
There will be a metal loss of no less than 10%. CBJ will not be held liable for change of metal colour / porosity. CBJ will not be held liable for damage of stones, as we recommend using new metal and stones.
If stones are not calibrated we will not be held responsible for loss or damage of stones after manufacturing. When stones are removed from old jewellery, CBJ will not be held liable for damage. And the client will be notified to purchase new stones. Terms and conditions for new custom jewellery manufactured are applicable.

Terms and Conditions for Jewellery Repairs
We do not do repairs on any jewellery not supplied by CBJ. All repairs will be quoted and quotes must be signed before work is done. No extra charges may be applied before client is notified. We give a 3 month warrantee on repairs done on jewellery that CBJ supplied. We will give warnings of any risks that a repair may involve and take no responsibility if the client decides to forego warnings.
We take the best possible measures to protect your jewellery, but we do not take responsibility for any loss/damage or theft. Jewellery items are handed in at customers risk.There are no guarantees for any repairs done on chains or bracelets and won’t be repaired more than twice. Rings are protected during repairs but we do not take responsibility for loss or damage of stones after/during repair. Clients are warned verbally, if stones may lose colour or may be damaged during repair, and we are not liable for any loss/damage during the repair. Repairs will take a minimum of 5 working days. Any plating done on a jewellery item is temporary and will have to redone every 6 – 12 months. This will be for the customers account. If any small stones (less than 2mm in diameter) are lost within 30 days after purchase, it will be replaced free of charge. After 30 days stones must be replaced at customers cost. Any jewellery piece that has been misused, or damaged while in the customers possession is non-refundable and void of warrantee.
Once you collect completed jewellery and leave the premises, we accept that you are completely satisfied with the work done. If you are dissatisfied after acceptance we will not be held liable. Any changes or work done thereafter will be for the customerss account unless specified otherwise.
